A Northern New Jersey Family Portrait Session

This was my third photo shoot with this little man and it is has been such a joy seeing him change over the past seven months. At our first portrait session he was just a few days old and could only fit in his monogramed chair propped up with a blanket. Today, not only can he sit in it on his own, but he does that while reading a book. Well, while chewing on a book.

A Connecticut Newborn Session

I love capturing the way new parents look at their little ones. You can see the love in their eyes and it can't help but make you smile. This sweet newborn session certainly shows just that. And this little girl could not have been more content in her parents arms. By the way, I adore her pink and gray nursery especially her initial, K, wrapped in yarn and decorated with crocheted flowers!

A Circus Themed First Birthday Party in Hoboken, New Jersey

What little one, or adult for that matter, doesn't like the circus? And this first birthday party certainly captured the theme perfectly. I adore the ferris wheel cupcake display and vintage wind up toys but my favorite detail is the popcorn boxes which have been transformed into vases. While the birthday boy looked adorable in his corduroy overalls, he did have one wardrobe change. At the end of the party his parents brought him out wearing a shirt that said "big brother." I just love the creative way this family announced to their guests that they are expecting! Congratulations to you all!

Catskill Mountains Maternity Photographs

I always love maternity photographs but this portrait session is one of my favorites for several reasons. First of all, there is no location more beautiful than than the Ashokan Reservoir in the Catskill Mountains. While I usually like to photograph outdoors in warm weather there is nothing like winter light. The second reason I love this particular session is that it was with my stunning cousin! She is just glowing! I am so happy I had the opportunity to capture these moments for her.

A New York First Birthday Party!

Blue and silver was the perfect theme for this wintery first birthday party at Due Ponti Restorante in Beechhurst, New York. Angie Bae of Angie & Co. did an amazing job planning all of the details. I especially love the race car cake topper and matching crayon gift bags. So cute! The guest of honor looked absolutely adorable in his traditional Korean clothes during his Dol ceremony!
