I love photographing maternity sessions. Add a two year old to the mix and you have double the fun! I spend the afternoon with this lovely family of three (soon to be four!) at the pier in Hoboken, New Jersey. It was such a joy to capture this very special moment in their lives.

I cannot get over how adorable this little one was all snuggly in his dad's arms! He certainly slept well. Of course, mom got some cuddle time with him, too. You can also see his parent's fall themed Hoboken, New Jersey maternity session, here.
I first photographed this little one when she was just a few days old. Four family portrait sessions later it is hard to believe she is already one-year old! Even though it was a cold winter day we were still able to get out to Pier C in Hoboken, New Jersey. The weather did not bother this toddler since she was always on the move.
Oliver's first birthday party took place at the Pluckemin Inn in Bedminester, NJ. The venue has a lovely historic feel as it was modeled after a colonial era farm house. It was the perfect setting for a wintry woodland rustic themed party.
Cana's Miracle did an amazing job creating all of the beautiful details. The highlight of the party was definitely the dessert table, decorated with silvery white flowers and pine cones mixed with mercury glass candle holders which evoked the winter season. After the birthday boy blew out his candle, guests enjoyed the darling owl themed cake, mini cupcakes and pie pops all baked by Jennifer Choi Desserts.
No one went home empty handed. At the end of the day each guest received a gift bag filled with all of the ingredients necessary to make s'mores. How fun? The adorable birthday boy, looking dapper in a navy blue sweater and plaid shirt, seemed to have a wonderful time!

When Ari and Liz told me they wanted to incorporate masquerade masks into their engagement session I loved the idea! We spent a winter afternoon at Lambert Castle in Paterson, New Jersey, which perfectly fit the theme. They were so much fun to work with even though it was cold. And Ari and Liz are getting married on Halloween! How awesome is that? I wish them both the best of luck!
