Zoo Themed Birthday Party

Everyone loves the zoo and planner, Wile Events, turned that theme into an amazing birthday party! I especially love the animal centerpieces.  Everyone enjoyed hamburgers and hotdogs provided by The W9 Market along with lunch boxes for the kids. Since the party took place at Van Saun Park guests each received tickets to the zoo, train and carousel, which is where the adorable birthday girl ended her celebration.

A Christmas Tree Farm Engagement Session

When Alicia and Jon suggested doing their engagement photos at Perfect Christmas Tree Farm in Phillipsburg, New Jersey, I loved the idea! They are such a sweet couple and were so much fun to photograph. Nothing is more romantic than picking out your first tree as a soon-to-be married couple.

Christmas Family Portraits in Hoboken, New Jersey

A few months ago I photographed this little girl's baptism and it is amazing how much she has changed in such a short time. For her holiday portraits she had several outfit changes but her red tutu is my favorite!

A Hoboken Holiday Portrait Session

What is the best thing about holiday family portraits? Red bow-ties! This little guy could not be cuter in his. I spent the afternoon photographing him with his parents and adorable pup around Pier A and C in Hoboken, NJ.

Outer Space Themed First Birthday Party in Brooklyn, New York

It was not hard for guests to figure out the theme of this adorable first birthday party! As soon as they arrived they were invited to drop off their space suits, by leaving them on what us earthlings call a coat rack. The birthday girl's incredibly creative mom put together all of the interstellar details with a little help from Etsy.

Guests could visit several space stations such as the coloring station, fueling station (also known as the buffet) and Odyssey check in. The Odyssey check in, my personal favorite, was a photo booth/guest book, where friends could take Polaroid pictures with a cardboard space helmet, rocket or jet plane! They would then sign the photographs and leave them for the guest of honor.

Of course, the highlight of the party was the dessert table and moon birthday cake. Other treats included milky way candy bars, astro popcorn,  moon pies, starbursts, astronaut ice cream and cupcakes. The baked  goods came from the amazing Du Jour Bakery and were a huge hit!

The birthday girl looked perfect for space travel in her gold shoes, silver leggings, tutu and star headband. How cute!? No  one left empty handed. Each visitor received a silver astronaut picture frame.
