I love watching families grow. I photographed big brother's newborn session in 2012 and was honored to photograph their newest addition three years later. These two cutes were so much fun to work with. Big brother was so sweet to his new sibling!

Full portrait sessions are perfect for life events like a new addition to the family, holiday photos or milestones, like when your little one starts sitting up, walking or has a birthday. Mini sessions are great for those in between time when you want to update your family portrait. This family had a perfect summer day for this session! How amazing are this little guys piercing blue eyes?
I always love seeing familiar faces during mini sessions and it was great to photograph these twin sisters and their parents again. They looked adorable in their navy blue dresses. It was a perfect afternoon at Pier A.
I am always surprised by how quickly my client's children change from one portrait session to the next and this dapper little guy was no exception. He grew so much since last fall! This mini session was also extra fun because the Mother's sister tagged along and she brought her adorable dog!

The Liberty House is the perfect place for a bridal shower, with excellent food and beautiful views of New York City. This lovely bride to be is lucky enough to have a wonderful family who planned a perfect brunch. The elegant decor, in shades of pink, gold and white was perfect. How fun are the escort cards which were attached to bird cages filled with chocolate covered pretzels that also served as gifts? I love the glitter silver table numbers! The bridesmaids surprised the bride with the most amazing gift. A set of wine bottles each with tags explaining when they should be opened, such as during their first anniversary, christmas and buying their first home. What a great idea!

I have to admit, newborn sessions are my favorite! There is nothing like a brand new baby but this little guy was extra special to me. His mom and I have been friends since high school so I was thrilled to photograph such a beautiful life event for them. And, my job was pretty easy with such a charming subject.
I also adore his adorable nursery, particularly the alphabet wall, hand stenciled with love by mom and grandma. The paper stars from Paper Lantern Store and sweet baby animal photographs by Rhondavous Designs, are also a lovely touch. As a fan of all things vintage, as soon as I saw the suitcases from Charlie's Nest, I knew we had to use them in our shoot! Plus this little cutie was very hip in his lightning bolt onesie and Rosie Pope paper airplane hat.
